  home   Football Program Principles

Our football program is built on three foundational principles.

Principle #1 = Hard work.  If you want to be the best football team we can be, then we are going to have to work harder than other teams do.  There is no secret and definitely no short cut...hard work is the answer.

Principle #2 = Personal Sacrifice.  Slacking, quitting, and failure are not options.  We will individually do whatever it takes to support the dreams and goals of the team...personal sacrifice is the answer.

Principle #3 = Love others.  The key ingredient to our program is the respect we build for each other, our program, and our competition.  When we learn to love others, we become a stronger person and team...servant leadership is the answer.

2009 Theme
No Regrets. Team First!
Strenght. Honor. Commitment.

Participation Requirements

TRT Power 3. Athletes are expected to embrace our team's theme of Strength, Honor, and Commitment by strength training a minimum of 4 times per week. Visit the TRT page for more information.

Varsity Letter - It seems that every year there are individuals that are committed to pre-season training but don’t receive enough varsity quarters to earn their varsity letter. There are also players that play in enough varsity games to earn their letter, but don’t put much effort into pre-season preparation.

In 2008 we are going to award varsity letters by evaluating a players pre-season and season commitment and performance. This includes practice attendance, TRT Power 3 commitment, and varsity game participation.
